Babies Uganda is a non‑profit organization founded in 2012 that works to offer opportunities to vulnerable children in Uganda. Its projects include orphanages, free schooling (including for visually impaired children), health care, and community development — all aimed at giving children in need a home, education and a future.
Calor en la Noche is a non‑profit association (linked to the La Salle network) founded in 2002, dedicated to supporting homeless people in Cádiz and nearby areas. It offers primary aid such as hot meals, clothes, blankets and personal care items, aiming not only to satisfy basic needs but also to provide human warmth, dignity and social inclusion, and works to help them regain hope and visibility.
FAADA (Foundation for Advice and Action in Defense of Animals) is an animal protection foundation whose mission is to defend the well‑being and rights of animals, raise awareness about animal suffering, and influence both behavior and legislation to improve animal protection.
Fundación El Hogar is a nonprofit animal‑welfare organization in Spain dedicated to rescuing, safeguarding and rehabilitating animals rescued from exploitation or abandonment. They run a sanctuary where rescued animals receive shelter, veterinary care, nourishment and a safe environment while rehabilitating. The foundation also promotes adoption or sponsorship, engages in educational outreach to promote animal rights and respect, and encourages a lifestyle aligned with compassion toward all species.
Oxfam Intermón is the Spanish branch of a global confederation of non‑governmental organisations working in almost 80 countries. It seeks to eradicate poverty and inequality through development cooperation, humanitarian aid, fair trade and social advocacy — combining local and global efforts to build more equitable systems and promote human rights, sustainable agriculture and social justice.
This association brings together Palestinians living in Catalonia and provides a space for interaction with the wider Catalan community.
Founded in October 1993 by the HIV-positive community, Project NOMS-Hispanosida aims to respond to the AIDS crisis. Its founding goals were to raise awareness of the epidemic and provide support to affected people.
Founded in 1997 in Sant Just Desvern, Solidança promotes social and labor inclusion and training for vulnerable groups. They carry out activities linked to waste management and circular economy projects, and operate through Social Insertion Enterprises in Barcelona and Girona.
A private, non-profit, interfaith organization independent of political influence. They support children, youth, and families in vulnerable situations by promoting development and autonomy through protective family environments and strengthening social and community networks.
The Hind Rajab Foundation works to break the cycle of Israeli impunity and achieve justice for victims of the Gaza genocide. They provide life-saving emergency relief and use food assistance to build peace, stability, and prosperity for people affected by conflict, disasters, and climate change.
A global humanitarian organisation fighting hunger worldwide. WFP delivers life‑saving food and nutrition assistance in emergencies, supports school‑meal programmes and healthy diets, helps small farmers and communities build resilience against crises, and works to ensure food security and dignity for the most vulnerable.
UNRWA is the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees in the Near East, serving 5.9 million people. For nearly seven decades, it has provided education, healthcare, humanitarian aid, and social services in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Gaza, and the West Bank. Funded mainly by voluntary contributions from UN member states, it operates its own schools, clinics, and centers, employing over 30,000 workers, 99% of whom are refugees.
Zooasis is a non‑profit animal shelter based in San Pedro (Albacete, Spain). They rescue dogs and often abandoned animals, provide them with veterinary care and rehabilitation, and work to find responsible adoptive homes. They also rely on donations and sponsorships (“apadrinamiento”) to cover food, medical care, and shelter, and promote awareness about animal welfare and adoption responsibility.
FARPE and its member associations work to advance understanding of hereditary retinal dystrophies. Their goal is to support the development of treatments to alleviate their effects and ultimately achieve cures.
